Tuesday - December 12, 2017

St. David of Wales Catholic Church Choir Members:
Members of the choir at St David of Wales Catholic Church in Richmond will perform at the church on Tuesday, December 12th at 7 pm. [The parish choir sings sacred, classical music & chant at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays. Accomplished musicians, Richard Mix and organist, Ed Teixeira also present concerts in the Church as schedule allows. St. David of Wales will once again host "Singalong Messiah" on December 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., accompanied by period instruments. Come sing with us or just listen and enjoy!]

A singing group from the Korematsu Middle School choir will perform on Wednesday, December 13th at 7 pm.

Kensington Symphony Orchestra:

Presenting the KSO Brass, a double brass quartet/quintet – Special to the Shadi Holiday Display! Starting at 7 p.m., listen to holiday carols and more!

[The Kensington Symphony Orchestra (KSO) is, as its board president, Mollie Hazen, describes it, a “unique musical gem tucked in the hills” of western Contra Costa County. Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the KSO, and its mix of over 45 musicians, from around the SF Bay Area, include professionals, non-professionals, music educators and students. The KSO performs under the direction of Maestro Geoffrey Gallegos. The KSO is an important community resource of civic value providing symphonic music right in our community’s backyards! Sunday - December 17, 2017

On Sunday December 17th, starting at 7pm, Barbara Lanier will lead a group of friends and neighbors in the singing of some favorite Christmas carols at the Shadi Holiday Display. Community members are welcome to join in the fun, sing along and enjoy the display. Invite your friends & family! (Lyrics for the carols and four-part music will be provided.)

Monday - December 18, 2017

Cub Scout Pack 104 - Caroling:
Come join Cub Scout Pack 104 for some kid-friendly Christmas carols! Starting at 7 PM, the 5-11 year old scouts will be leading some short, simple Christmas tunes, including: Jingle Bells, Silent Night, We Wish You a Merry Christmas, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, The 12 Days of Christmas, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Please bring the kids and join us for some fun! We'll have song sheets to share as well. See you there!
